Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox, born 25th December 1954 in Aberdeen Scotland. Dorothy Farquharson & Thomas Allison Lennox is the name used by her parents. Lennox was a student at the Royal Academy of Music, London in the 70s. She was a harpsichord student and flautist piano over 3 years. Lennox lived on an allowance for students and went off on a part-time job to supplement her budget. Lennox wasn't happy with the quality of her abilities compared to the other students at the Royal Academy and began looking to find alternative routes. Lennox was a flute player in a 1976 band called Dragons Playground. The group did not get to compete in the competition for talent New Faces on I.T.V. Lepidoptera is a compilation of four piano improvisations, was released by Lennox in May 2019. The E.P. She released her first solo album, which was released in conjunction with her artwork at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art entitled "Now I'm letting You Go."
